Awww, sadly it's as you guessed, if i made it read only after editing it, combat arms would simply ignore it, not even trying to replace it. And if it was not on read only, the combat arms would re-encrypt it. Though i wonder how it knows not to trust change =_= . O well, twas a learning experience i guess.
