Diablo III Release date

Well it's past 9/9/9 and it hasn't been released. Blizzard hasn't even confirmed a release date ;\

From the FAQ on Diablo 3 official website:

When will Diablo III be released?

It's too early to estimate Diablo III's release date. As with all Blizzard Entertainment games, our goal is to create a game that is as fun, balanced, and polished as possible. We intend to take as much time developing Diablo III as is necessary to ensure the game meets our own high expectations and those of our players. We're aiming to release Diablo III on both Mac and Windows simultaneously in as many regions as possible, and to localize the game in several languages. We'll have more details to share about countries, languages, and specific dates as we get closer to release.

Even though it's been so long since D2, I hope it's in 2010 or 2011.

Remember, once it's out, it's out forever carved in history. Patches can only do so much good if the mechanics of the game are rushed and boring or messed up.

I'd much rather wait an extra year or two and get a perfect sequel to such an awesome game, than get it tomorrow and have it really generific, bland, boring and full of bugs. Because if it's a half-baked production, it's not Diablo, it's just another hack-n-slash slapped with the Diablo brand name.

It's like stuffing a sandwich with baloney and selling it as a hamburger. Buying $0.20 bags of outdated popcorn and selling it as $4.50 'glamour hollywood spiced american popcorn' in a movie theatre. You can call it whatever you want but the content is still shit if it doesn't live up to the expectation.

Epic Fail lol it's 4-3-10 and no d3 (-_-) but there is iPad today!

But really it's gonna be soon considering that it has been on the blizzard site for quite some time now the anticipation is killing me!

I heard that they will release it at like December 2010

I really want them to release this game so bad! But Blizzard is a lame company and will make us wait like EA for Battlefield 1943 for pc users!

O_O the new diablo 3 looks like its gonna lose the old diablo 2 feel and get more of a WoW feel.
