I know I am the new one-post guy here but I am asking a serious question nobody has yet answered:

What has Obama done in any of his political career that made him qualified to be President of anything but a community organization on the South Side of Chicago? And voting "present" 150 times and most of the rest not taking a stand on anything or even showing up for votes as a Junior Senator from Illinois doesn't count. Being black and charismatic also doesn't count. The devil can charm your socks off but he won't get you into Heaven on a smile. Leave out his Constitutional Professor credentials as there are plenty of other professors out there, some more an expert on that whom are more qualified. And to be blunt, Obama doesn't even respect the Constitution he claims to profess in college courses. He believes in changing and subverting it. But I digress. Has this man did ANYTHING but organize a bunch of Chicago activists and hang out with convicted felons and commies and radicals? Has he done anything that makes me vote for him based on what he has done?

I recall Martin Luther King's words so well: I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

The biggest reason I hear why this man was ever elected...was his skin color. Because he was BLACK. Not what he did or his history Legislating or whatever. Because of his skin color. I venture to say Dr. king would be ashamed that a black man got to the top only because he was black and not because of who or what he stands for and does. How sad we are so wrapped up in the injustices of our past with slavery that we feel the need to elevate a black man to president of the USA as some means of reparation and historical mending when we should be electing him based on who he is and what he stands for and done...not his skin color or some contrived, centuries-old guilt of a past long gone. This man has done NOTHING to deserve even being a Congressman from Illinois. Let alone president.

So I ask again: What has this man done to even deserve being president? And more importantly, what has he done that deserves so much adoration and borderline worship? And before anyone asks. I am Independent. I am part of the crowd that Obama relies on to re-elect him. So my voice matters more than Democrats or Republicans. Can anyone answer those questions?
