help asap!

i have a video i want to send a friend over email.
i compressed it into a zip file.
it still exceeds the limit of sending. which is 25mb.

what else can i do...

make it into a .rar I believe that compresses further not 100% sure though

also if possible, compress the folder first then into .rar
