Thanks for letting everyone know. I'm sure a lot of people will still stick with amd.

Why would you remove the heatsink?

I have AMD, been able to max most of the games since 5 years back to date.
If one does for some odd reason remove it while it's on - then it's their own fault.

Although, these are pre-dated chipsets and I'm sure they've fixed whatever issue that might've been.
As Intel hit the market before AMD did, as far as I know, so Intel had the monopoly which lead to AMD not having as much market, thusly they wouldn't be able to use as expensive materials due to economy.

Prove me wrong if you wish, I don't care.
Brand isn't what's driving me.

AMD does more bang for the buck, we don't have a processor that is over a thousand dollars, yet our highest processor performs close to one of the best intel processors. Imagine if AMD were to build a $1,000 processor. It would straight own the Intel one.

Yes Intel is better in every way because they burn less when you remove the heatsink. At Least on this single pair that we tried.

Do you know why AMD's processors are cheaper? because they are worse than the Intel ones. AMD is great if you have a budget if not just go wild and get a 3970X

Also, technically in the beginning AMD completely ripped off intel, as they reverse engineered the 4004 if I am correct, and made their own based off what they got.

I didn't say that was bad what they did, because afterwords they cracked deals with Intel.

I just noticed from experience that AMD quality tends to lack behind Intel

I've only had one Intel, so I wouldn't know, I think it was a Pentium III.
And that to what I have now is a giant leap so I can't really do a fair comparison to them.

In the current generation Intel is outperforming AMD in both speed and price by quite a bit. In older generations AMD was the big players and intel was really struggling for a while.

Intel vs AMD is an age old debate which won't be concluded by any opinions here.

Benchmarks prove the champion.

If you like AMD get "AMD" if you like intel get "intel"
