you could also have bought youself the famous kernelspoofer (thekernelspoofer.com) for $32 and you would be able to spoof your hardware forever.... Or use the punkbusterblocker posted before for free, you would get kicked every now and then, but not HW banned.
I am hardware banned and i can play using the blocker just fine.
