Idea 1 :
i have wanted to make a game like aqw for a long time but i dont have the knowledge to do so.
i thought if i say my idea i can get some help.
i want the game to be a lot like aqw in the fact that there is monsters a main area quest rare loot BUT i want all of this quests, areas, loot and class's for everyone so that you don't have to buy member but if you want a special colored name or a trail of fire following you and access to areas 1 - 2 hours before release then you would get member.
would be cool if it was a online game there would be big boss's you would need 20-30 high level players to battle it.
custom loot each loot item would have a different dmg and attribute from a list loot table EG :
Name Blade of ATTRIBUTE Death
Damage range 100-400
attribute list : fire (fiery) ice (icy) Etc
and random mobs with the same loot table style!
idea 2 :
Almost everyone has herd of the game Minecraft and its bukkit plugins!
to make a full mmorpg server
with custom mobs custom loot and custom maps and dungeons
item ideas :
teleport rune, house key : buy a house on the server paying 100 gold per day, crafting items Eg : shard of ice you would need 2 and a handle of ice to craft a ice dagger.
leveling system players get xp for each kill then level up and be able to get better loot and face better mobs
mobs : zombies (with armor and webs) skeletons ( with armor and webs) pigmen with armor and weps! Dragons with custom ai and there block breaking disabeld Boss's giants, dragons, withers, and more
all this is possible with minecrafts engine and bukkits plugin api! just need pro ish coders to get it done and good builders to build the city and land scape !
could get alpha testers to join for 2 $ or something to keep the servers up and running they would get special armor they could level up
same with the loot tables as the first idea.
i got more ideas for this but i would like to see if anyone is intrested in making it with me
