HELP! Crossfire won't start since the patch for me.

The game was running fine yesterday, before the patch. I tried running the game today, and the patcher, xtrap, and hgw game watcher seemed to run fine. Right after the hgw game watcher ends, i'd get the message that the color scheme changed temporarily for the game, so everything's fine up to here. Then the crossfire.exe thing would just stop working (one second its showing in the task manager processes, the next, its gone). I don't get any error messages or anything, it just stops running.

I thought the patcher messed something up so i uninstalled the game completely, deleted remaining files, and reinstalled everything. Right after the game patched again, same thing happened after the hgw thing and the game wouldn't start.

PLEASE HELP ME T.T

I'm not much of a computer person, just play the game. But i've restarted my comp, put cf into the trusted applications for my antivirus (i think i did it right lol), and the private and public boxes are checked for the application in the windows firewall thing.

Windows 7, intel i5 card thing, directx 11, all my other specs should be fine i guess, been playing the game until yesterdays patch.

i had the same problem and it fixed by these steps:- 1:go at my computer then properties 2:Advance system settings 3:Preformance settings 4: Data execution 5:turn on dep and Add crossfire.exe it should work xD
