eggcracker. does it work?

hello guys.
im kinda new to this forum looking to crack an alt or something for mahself.
yesterday i downloaded eggcracker and some scraped names and someones password list. oh and dont forget the proxies. but the only thing eggcracker seems to be doing is trying the first password on the list with the first 32 names like infinite times.
does anyone know this is good or bad or whatever?

eggcrack is having tons of problems atm. i'm thinking that mojang patched the bruteforcing and checking in eggcrack. so, wait until a new cracker comes out, it'll be epic
