Connecting to server please wait screen FROZEN!

On my main account i get frozen at Connection to server please wait. Even without hacks it happens. Does this mean im banned, or is there a way to fix it.

Re-start your computer. Or you can wait it out.

This has happened to many people including me, you aren't banned.
