They both have great cards for different price ranges.

i like AMD's price's better but i use Nvidia cause they have physx and it make's game's look alot better imo

Both amd and nvidia have good and bad points,so no solid answer for this question.

In terms of pure graphical power and ability to keep cards cool, +1 to NVIDIA.
In terms of price to power ratio, +1 to AMD

My experience with AMD = shit drivers (uninstallation process); Nvidia supposedly have better and more frequent driver updates.

Price/power ratio, AMD is supposedly the winner there.

AMD has really nice cheap video card and not overpriced like nvidia. The nvidia 660 ti is still like 250-300$ while the 7870 XT is like 139$
