It isn't server sided and he probably ranked mage by botting not by the so called "hack".

Does this glitch/hack rely on quests for the exp to be credited? Like how the previous LeBots had the fast exp such as the knave1 and the j6 ones.

its real serverside hack ,he or she is using a difficult code to penetrate the database,ae shutdown the servers after this to change password,modify stuffs.etc...pray to god for finding it and tell him to share if still works.

Meh. Whether it is or isn't, I don't really care.
In my opinion, the aim of hacking/botting should be to make the game more fun.
Hacking a game completely like so, is worthless. It just makes it less fun.
On the other hand, AQWorlds can be a tedious game, and botting with trainers makes it less so.
Even if there were a server-sided hack, I doubt I would want to use it.

Any kind soul willing to share how the exp hack works?

Keeping it private for now :P
