How to hitbox?

I've asked this before and everyone has just told me "Get a VIP" or "i dunno..."
I'm so curious! I've searched and searched but I can't find free hitboxes ANYWHERE. I don't really care if I have to write my own, but I just wnat to know how they work and where (if) I can find a free one.

hitbox in his terms is when u can be shot and shot and shot and never die untill they decide to hit u in the head its a glitch i thought :P

A hitbox is the invisible 3d box around a bullet, or melee weapon (when swinging), etc. If a hitbox hits a collision box/bubble, then an allotted amount of damage will be delivered to the person hit.

Atleast thats the definition in fighters. (SBBB, SF4, etc)

Boxes around people are boundary boxes. Hitboxes are the sections of the characters of which when hit take damage, for example head, nuts, or chest. Therefore I don't know what the OP means by hitboxing.

Exactly. Hitbox isn't a verb. Its a noun.

combat arms has bad hitbox, so shitty, i shoot a guy like 2 feet away from me and it finally registered after he killed me. and i shot him first

Thats not a hitbox issue, that was lag.

Pay attention, I don't see why this is so confusing.

A bad hitbox = you shoot 2 ft away from sum1 and it actually kills them.
