Sent and Received PMs in same 'thread'

When you receive a PM, it goes to your Inbox. However, if you send a PM, it goes to your Sent Items folder. This means that if you have a very long PMing session, you have to be constantly looking back and forth between those folders. The best way around this would seem to just have sent and received PMs in the same folder. I know that this is a vBulletin issue/feature, and I've never used vBulletin before, so I don't know if this can be changed, but if it can, please do!
I understand that you can use quotes, but it's not up to me whether the other person uses them.

EDIT: What's the reason for requiring tags be at least three characters? We can still only have seven.

You know there is a feature for looking at the PM conversation
Simply scroll down in the PM and look for Message history

and click "View History" to see all your past conversations with the person

Maybe the reason is to help reduce spams? /

That does work, but it's in reverse order, and I think lots of people (myself included) don't know about that.
How would that reduce spam? That doesn't make any sense. If you're spamming, you usually have the message that you're going to post in you clipboard (you've Ctrl + Ved it), so viewing your history doesn't help.

The reduce spam was answer to the tag question
It has nothing to do with the Private Message History viewing

Having them in the same folder would be a clusterfuck imo. Having two folders is good for organization.

Dunno if it can be done... Like Symm said, it's something Dave has to answer.
