[Tutorial] Playing on Kongregate with hacked clients using Charles

So I recently had problems trying to get clients work with a Kong account. I remembered that a long time ago (like 14 months or so) I managed to get an hacked client running ON Kong using Charles. Even if it is not the easiest and most efficient way to play clients on Kong, it get its job done and allow players to use Kong's features as well.

1- Requirements
- Charles Web Debugging proxy
- Google Chrome (tested on this, worked, other browsers can probably work too)
- An hacked client

2- Step-by-step instructions

-Start up Charles;
-Go to Kongregate;
-Start RotMG (on Kong gee);
-Wait 'til the client fully loaded (you can see the main menu);
-On Charles look for "Structure" tab;
-Find "http://www.realmofthemadgod.com";
-Expand it by clicking on the +;
-Right click on AssembleGameClient396whatever , NOT AGCLoader;
-Click "Map Local";
-A window will pop out: ignore the upper part of it, and click on "Choose" on the right of the "Local Path" bar;
-Select your hacked client;
-Press OK;
-Close RotMG page;
-Delete Chrome's cache and cookies (History > Clear browsing data);
-Open up Kong homepage: you will have to login;
-Start up Realm again.

If everything went well and you didn't mess up something, you should be running your hacked client ON Kong.



As long as Charles is open it should stay as your client. To return to vanilla, close Charles and reload the page.

Can this be done with Kabam.com?

Unfortunately not, doesn't seem to work.

it worked great, and after i used it once i figured out how to use it again (by looking at the map local tab) and again after a new build came out (new assemble thing) but i deleted everything in my map local and i cant find the assemble thing anywhere. halp please

Try deleting your browser cache and cookies.

It only shows AGC loader for me?

It all works apart from it sits at a black screen, I have left it for a few min and tried refreshing it changes nothing.

Retrying just made it worse cant find anything in "http://www.realmofthemadgod.com" now

its not working for me - when i click on realmofthemadgod it only shows the kongregate url that u are supposed to use for flash

After we do this, is there a way to re download the client, that has the kong log in info with it. (To be played in flash player, instead of in browser)?
