VAC or Overwatch

How do you know if it's a VAC or Overwatch ban? I've got global cooldown - untrusted acc.

I think thats a Vac Ban but don't take my word

Yeah, it converts to VAC.
If you got the untrusted ban recently then yeah, it will get converted.

But if i have untrusted account, even i wasn't using any hacks?
and have video proving that i'm saying the truth?
So what should I do?.. Please help

It's a 365 day ban. It's a manual ban via player reports.

There are no more 365, all are permanent.

untrusted ban means its going through many overwatchers , if your not guilty then u will be unbanned in like 1 month or idk , otherwise it will go to vac ban

im pretty sure it wont convert to a VAC ban .... steam only bans for 100% hack evidence (collected by VAC)

Untrusted ban is Overwatch ban and it will be converted to VAC Ban 100% Atleast it did for my friend.

About Bans, Competitive Cooldowns, and You
( I ) VAC bans are permanent. They won't be lifted.

( II ) Overwatch bans:
1.Minorly disruptive (griefing) - around 30 days.
2. Majorly disruptive (cheating -aim/wall/other external hacks) - Permanent.

( III ) Account untrusted bans - Permanent, 100% correct and won't be lifted. They will change into VAC ban over time

so no, untrusted isnt an overwatch ban
untrusted might be triggered by detected cheat settings (like psilent, norecoil, ..) or the cheat itself and will turn into a vac ban a few days later

u wont get a vac ban if u get overwatch convicted (majorly disruptive), since its not 100% positive

This is completely false: Overwatch bans will flag as "Majorly Distruptive - Convicted By Overwatch"
"Untrusted" status is a systematic trigger that flags your account for review and in most cases you will get a shiny new red VAC ban the next day.

This is also false, you will get a VAC ban from these quite often.
