Finished C++ Basics.

In the word's of Keanu Reeves in "The Matrix" "I know kung fu."

That's right I have just finished my beginner's guide, and all I can say is that I'm really tired... yawn, but that maybe because I woke up so early today haha. Nonetheless I can now officially say I am a C++ coder. That is a complete and udder novice C++ coder, but a C++ coder nonetheless.

I know what your going to say, I have a lot left to learn, which is true, but for a brief moment I just want to enjoy the little bit of pride I feel in completing the first step.

Thankyou so much, Toymaker (the original Moderator of this forum who set me on the right course), zeco (for letting me bounce questions off him all the time when it was really just me the only two members on this site trying to learn C++), B1ackAnge1 (for just being the genius Renaissance man that he is and always having the answers to my questions), Hell Demon (For being regular know-it-all and generally bringing a little spice to this forum), rwkeith (Though he doesn't post much anymore he was one of the few who helped me get started, and finally all the other regular posters (like lala) who helped me gain a better understanding of my own coding by helping them with their problems.


So What Next?
Well I'm planning to move on to learning ASM and Reverse Engineering as well as touching on some D3D and taking on other little projects intermitently to keep my C++ skills sharp. Ha lol pun... get it?

I am still not sure of where I am at in C++, tough ya.. theres a long way to go. Anyways, I am sure you will pick up assembly fast. Can't wait to see you realeasing your own hacks.

500? That's a child's book. Try 1200 =D (C++ Primer Plus, quite a good book).

I still haven't finished mine.. is a 500 page book as well, tough I am near the end. Been reading it for a long long time..

I already did apply for Mod of this section, but I was trying to keep it on the downlow xD. But if I get it you will become royal wiper of my feet. How does that sound dragon

@legendaryhack: It's not really a knowledge thing as much as an activity contest. I simply I applied because more people knew me outside of the C++ section. If it was a knowledge contest we would all get swallowed up in the huge shadow of BA :P lol
