Even advanced C++ is piss-easy if you have two brain cells to put together. Everything in a programming language such as c++ makes perfect logical sense, more so than even a conventional 'language'.
If you find it "boring" you wont be able to make even simple graphical directx-based hooks for ca/wr.
No, it's not exciting. But once you see the immense logic and rationale which goes into a finished, compiled dll or executable, you will enjoy coding. Learning a programming language is a process just like learning anything else. It can take years of learning until you finally 'understand' how certain functions, calls, etc. work.
In other words, it's absolutely impossible to just read a tutorial or watch a 3 minute YT video & learn it. You need to genuinely want to understand the meaning of the code you write and what it does.
