It's really up to you, If it makes you happy do it, if not, don't, its your life to spend as you wish, and no one here can judge you for it.. GL with w/e you do as long as it makes YOU happy.

The internet is a waste of a time..

I don't think that's entirely true, it does have its advantages, open doors to meet people you would never meet otherwise; learn things, see things, that would just not be available in any other form.. The benefits outweigh the negatives IMO.
