[Help] Cracking a license program?

Hi,

First, sorry if i'm not posting in the right place, I tried my best.

My question is : is it possible to crack a license program?

My example is a program you can download on realmbot dot xyz in the download dot php page.
(a little tool for a game I play)

When you launch it, a cmd-like window appears and a short time after it will open the "license" window

I would like to simply bypass that window and go to the next step
I tried to do it by myself with olly but I wasn't able to.
I hope this was clear, I would be really happy if I got an answer.

Use debugger like OllyDbg, find API call that compares two strings, e.g license key and input key.

I'm not really experienced with OllyDbg and API stuff .. How could these API calls be called ?
And do I have to find them with searching for intermodular calls and then set a breakpoint there?

Hey just learn reverse engineering and cracking,

It will get you started in to the world cracking its time consuming also if its a application from like big company's it will take a lot of debugging also hours to crack.
