Can the old Steam/browser linking be updated?

Hello everyone. I have a request/question for the RotMG modding community. Can the old account linking feature for Steam/Kongregate clients be redirected to the new account database? If so, would you be willing to share?

Back in September 2013, I found a guide here (/forum/showthread.php?t=696119) on how to use an older client to make the linking process work. I re-uploaded the client and reposted the guide on the Steam forums (/app/200210/discussions/0/846964364015130496/) for others to see. I hope you'll forgive me for not giving credit to a site that endorses cheating in multiplayer games

I'm not asking this for myself, but for the 1000s of Steam users that are constantly taunted by a broken register button. If you do the work to fix the old client, I encourage you to repost the guide on Steam and take credit for yourself. Thanks for reading!

Ah, I already saw you a lot on Steam Community. And I think there is currently no way, I tried the same thing by contacting kabam support, response:

Unfortunately because we do not support Steam I wouldn't be able to tell you if this is or is not possible, however, I recommend checking out the Forums to see if any other Players can give you some pointers!

Someone has contacted me with an updated client, which I've linked in the guide on the Steam forums. If a moderator wouldn't mind updating the thread title and making a proper link, that would be great
