If north korea had internet.
What would happen? Would the world change in anyway? Would there be more hacks? Etc.
There is already internet in North Korea. Although it's only available in universities. The rest of the country got a intranet (although access to this is probably rare, as most North Korean's probably don't have a personal computer).
But, if the entire population of North Korea were to get access to the internet uncensored things would have changed rapidly.
The reason the dictators in Egypt and Libya were overthrown is because of social networks enabled the people to communicate and rise against their dictator.
N Korea can't even feed itself, and everyone's starving there, and their busy shooting ministers with anti-aircraft guns.
South Korea has 5000MB per second download speed.
You can even look it up i cant because my friends and his family went their and i wasn't able to. You don't have to have proof. You can go their yourself and find out yourself. Just because i dont have pics doesnt mean im lieing to you. Dont be an ass.
Technically they do have internet but obviously only ava too a couple of ppl.
You ever spoken to a Russian and told them what their government is doing? They don't believe you, because their government tells them not to. Our government (hopefully) has been telling us the truth and we know.. but they don't. A North Korean has been told that their government is the best government ever and they have the best quality of life and the rest of the world is hell. If they went on the internet they'd just reject it.
conclusion: Nothing would change.
We would know that things really aren't so fucked up out there.
I still stick to what I said, ever spoken to a Russian about what their government is doing to Ukraine right now? They don't believe it for a second.
Also I kind of agree with Jullek, we could simply find out that we've been lied to by our governments.. and North Korea isn't doing as bad as they're saying.
