do i type connect in console then steam://joinlobby/730/109775241969572584/76561198165222365 ? or something else thanks having trouble joining a mates lobby

Just copy paste the link, open some of your friends profiles or just a web through steam and paste the link there. it should work.

how u mean a web threw steam ? if i dont have them on freind
list how do i join

steam://joinlobby/730/109775241969572584/76561198165222365
Then paste it to the browser and press enter.(It's just like you want to go in a website)

thanks ive done that but now i get this error
CSysSessionClient: Cannot join lobby, response 3!
does that mean game is in progress?
