That's not really a reason to -rep , maybe your rank was just too low/high.
You should be glad that people make free boosts from time to time.

Yes unranked players do indeed effect the rank.
Just an example , when I got a new smurf I played one game with some friends and nobody was higher than MG1.
Yet we were matched with MG2-DMG (and I also got placed LE later with that acc)
