VB is easier to get started with. you can start making useful things very quickly
but with C++ it takes a lot more knowledge to make useful things...but if you learn it well, you can make wayyy better things with C++ like games and other stuff. VB is much harder to do advanced things in than C++. you can do it...but takes much more time and know how. so if you wan to make simple helpful programs like cleaners, registry cleanrs and other everyday apps, VB is better. if you want to make games and other advanced things thing C++ is much better!
