Is my internet the problem

Well Im stuck with some shitty wifi till i fix my internet.

Like most know i use a modded modem to get fast speeds but my moddem got broken like 10 mounths ago and i just orderd a new one but does not come in till thurseday.

so im asking can super low connections cause terrible lag when i get my moddem i can expect to see speeds of 50 megs or more

but for now i have this shit
