Warrock Sound Modding

Hello, you can no longer sound mod in warrock after the latest update. I usually edit this file in the warrock folder so that i can hear peoples footsteps from across the map. This helps me alot when playing and makes it easier to know where people are (almost like GPS hack). But now if you edit the file, warrock will not start!

So anyone know a way around this?? I want to sound mod again!!

For those who dont know how to sound mod footsteps:

1. Go to warrock folder.
2. Go to sound folder.
3. Edit the file that says Effect. Change the radius of footsteps from 500 to any number you want. The higher the number, the biigger the radius is that you hear footsteps.

But now if you do that warrock dosent even load up. So just wanted to ask my fellow mates on MPGH if you guys have found a way around this! Would love the help

if it has been patched there is no way round it unless you actualy "hack" warrock whihc is illegal and if you could "hack" warrock why? you would be able to hack banks and such... there is just no point. if you want to use a gps download a hack and only use chams.

lol hack banks? bit of an exageration xD its a bit of a difference between warrock and a bank...

oh and yh if its been patched there isnt a way around it sorry. they must hav made so that if u change anything u cant start warrock. that means no more sound modding... though its pretty clever what u used to do i wouldnt hav thought of that.

what i'm simply saying is if you wanted to change it you would have to "hack" right into warrock server which to do you would need the programmes that could potentialy "hack" banks

Sound modding is so old lol. Just hack. Its so much better.

i dont know about hacking footsteps, but i youst to mod my in-game music.

you just replace the in-game music(mp3) with whatever mp3 you'd like. it just has to be named the warrock file that you are replacing.
(example; name the "whatever song you use" as the "alberon theme", then replace the old "alberon theme" music with the new one) overwrite it.

it does work - unless they have changed things???

be sure to back-up the original warrock music.

warrock doesnt alow you to change any system file content otherwise will give you an error

Hacking is not better then modding footsteps. You realize i used to mod for years after evey patch and nothing would ever happen. I havent gotten a single account banned sound modding. I always get good scores too in warrock only becuase i can hear them coming and can anticipate them. Dam i really am gonna miss sound modding. even Gm's couldnt dectect. Once i got into a GM event on the weekend and i sound modded right in front of them and they though iwas legit LOL!!

But i guess they finally found how to stop it... really sucks cuz this was 10000000%% ban proof!

You can still change .wav files though :P I just wanted to see if all my old sound mods worked. All the .wav I used work perfect still. I have a pornstar medic and some really crazy sounds going on lmao.

If you Sound mod, you dont hack because you only change the textures.
I made so many sound mods if you want i coul post them in the skinning section
