Need a lil help with gun modding

basically...im gonna tell you this.

as far as i know, you can only change models within their own class (ar, smg, mg) except the minigun and a few other specialist items.

for most guns within their own class, there are at least these 3 files:
- pvmla_GunName
- pvmla_w_GunName
- pvmsh_GunName

im sure you can figure it out from here...

corndog told me this and it helped me alot, yes i copied and pasted these are his words and it helped me a great deal, you should all thank him

Also, it is too my best knowledge that you edit all the files that match up(rename them) and DO NOT edit the anibase, this is to my prior knowledge but i may be wrong

well you umm FAILED

I tried this and it didn't work, was trying to change to a default gun to a mtar which are both assault rifles

And to you with the editing GUNS_PV_T_AR, how come all the gun mod to another gun are only the M files not the T files

T - TEXTURE - the skin of the gun.
M - MODLE - the shape of the gun.

You must modify the files in both for a replica.

-.- how many times do i need to say it, the moded weapons you can download are only the M files! not Texture but MODEL! So obviously they aren't needed.
